Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

Terms governing your use of the Jadro website and engagement with our products and services.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of jadrosteel.com and any enquiry you submit through it. By using this website or sending us an enquiry, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Jadro Steel LLP. "You" means the person or organisation using the website or making an enquiry.

Any construction work we carry out for you is governed by a separate signed contract, not by these terms. Where the two differ, the signed contract prevails.

2. What we do

Jadro Steel LLP designs, manufactures and erects light gauge steel and hybrid steel buildings. Our work includes warehouses, godowns, factory sheds, cold storage, multi-bay industrial buildings, mezzanine floors, showrooms, offices, banquet halls, institutional blocks, prefabricated houses, villas, bungalows, farmhouses, labour quarters and rooftop extensions, together with the architectural and structural drawings for them.

We manufacture components at our own facility at Panchla, Howrah, and erect them with our own team. We are not an agent, broker or reseller for any other manufacturer.

3. Using this website

You may use this website to learn about our services and to contact us about a project. You may not:

  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through our forms
  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or copy the website's content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or its database
  • Interfere with the website's operation or security
  • Use content from this website commercially without our written permission
  • Use our name, logo or images in a way that suggests an association we have not agreed to

We may withdraw access to the website from anyone who does any of these things.

4. Enquiries and quotations

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. When you send us an enquiry, you are asking us to prepare a quotation. We are not obliged to accept every enquiry, and we may decline a project without giving a reason.

Quotations are estimates until confirmed. Any figure we give before a site visit and detailed drawings is indicative. Prices depend on steel rates, span, height, loading, foundation conditions, site access, cladding specification and the finish level you choose. We issue itemised quotations so that you can see what is and is not included.

Quotations are valid for the period stated on them, normally thirty days. Steel prices move, and after that period we may need to requote.

A contract begins only when you accept a written quotation, we confirm acceptance, and any advance payment specified in that quotation has been received.

Timelines are estimates. Any delivery or completion period we mention is based on normal conditions. It may be affected by site readiness, statutory approvals, changes you request, material availability, weather, transport disruption or events outside our control.

5. Website content

We prepare the information on this website carefully, but:

  • Photographs of completed projects illustrate our work generally. Your building will be designed to your own requirement and may differ.
  • Timescales, cost comparisons and performance statements are typical figures based on our experience, not guarantees for every project.
  • Technical descriptions are simplified for a general reader. The specification for your project will be set out in your drawings and quotation.
  • We may change or update website content at any time without notice.

Where anything on this website differs from your signed contract or approved drawings, those documents are correct and the website is not.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, photographs, illustrations, drawings, layout, logo and design — belongs to Jadro Steel LLP or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute it without our written consent.

Design drawings, structural calculations and shop drawings we prepare remain our intellectual property unless your contract says otherwise. Where we prepare drawings for a project that does not proceed, you may not pass them to another contractor for execution.

The names and logos of any third-party products mentioned belong to their respective owners.

7. Payment

Payment terms are set out in each quotation and contract. Unless stated otherwise:

  • An advance is payable on confirmation of order
  • Further payments fall due at stages agreed in the contract, typically on completion of fabrication and on delivery
  • The balance is payable on completion of erection
  • Applicable taxes are charged in addition and shown separately
  • Payments are made to the registered bank account of Jadro Steel LLP, in Indian Rupees

We will never ask you to send payment to a personal account, a UPI ID belonging to an individual, or any account not named in your invoice. If you receive such a request appearing to come from us, do not pay it. Call us on +91 98303 67549 to verify before transferring any money.

Materials remain our property until payment for them has been received in full.

8. Variations and cancellation

Changes you request after fabrication has begun may affect both cost and timeline. We will confirm the effect in writing before proceeding.

If you cancel a confirmed order, we may recover costs already incurred, including materials purchased, components fabricated and design work completed. Because components are cut to your specific building, fabricated material generally cannot be reused.

9. Warranty and liability

We warrant that materials we supply and work we carry out will conform to the specification in your contract and be free from defects in workmanship for the period stated there.

This warranty does not cover: damage from misuse, unauthorised alteration or work by others; normal wear; damage from fire, flood, earthquake, storm or other natural events; corrosion arising from an environment not disclosed to us at design stage; or failure caused by foundations or civil work not carried out by us.

To the extent Indian law permits, our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the contract in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of production or loss of opportunity.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Communications

By providing your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry and any resulting project by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email.

You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time by telling us so on any of those channels. We will still contact you where necessary about a live contract.

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Howrah, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this website or these terms.

Where a dispute arises under a construction contract, the dispute resolution provisions of that contract apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you submit an enquiry is the version that applies to it. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
