1. Who we are
Jadro Steel LLP is a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India. We design, manufacture and erect light gauge steel and hybrid steel buildings — warehouses, godowns, factory sheds, cold storage, showrooms, offices and prefabricated houses — from our own manufacturing facility at Panchla, Howrah, West Bengal.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through jadrosteel.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and what control you have over it. We are the data fiduciary responsible for the information described here.

2. What information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you submit an enquiry or quotation request through our website, we ask for:
- Your name
- Your mobile number
- Your email address
- The type of building you are planning
- The approximate size of your project, in square feet
- The city or district where the project is located
If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that conversation — typically the same details, plus any drawings, site photographs or specifications you send us.
We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your bank account details, card numbers, passwords, one-time passwords, Aadhaar number, PAN or any other government identity number through our website forms.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our analytics tools record standard technical information: the pages you view, how long you spend on them, the approximate city you are browsing from, the type of device and browser you use, and the website or advertisement that brought you to us.
This information is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies — small files stored by your browser — for two purposes:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are useful to visitors and where people leave the site.
- Advertising measurement. When we run advertisements on Google, cookies help us understand which advertisements led to enquiries, so that we do not waste money showing advertisements that do not work.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Our website will still work, though our understanding of how visitors use it will be less accurate.
3. Why we collect it, and on what basis
We collect your information for these purposes only:
- To respond to your enquiry. We call, message or email you to understand what you are planning and answer your questions.
- To prepare a quotation. We use the building type, size and location you give us to calculate an itemised construction cost.
- To arrange a site visit. Where a project needs a survey before we can price it accurately, we use your contact details and location to organise that visit.
- To execute a project. If you engage us, we use your details to communicate with you through design, fabrication, delivery and erection.
- To keep proper records. We retain invoices, contracts and tax records for the periods Indian law requires.
- To improve our website. We look at aggregated visit data to understand which pages help visitors and which do not.
We process your information because you have asked us to prepare a quotation or respond to your enquiry, and because we have a legitimate interest in operating and improving our business. Where the law requires your consent — for example, for advertising cookies — we rely on that consent, and you may withdraw it at any time.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade or share it for anyone else's marketing. We do not add you to a marketing list without your agreement, and we do not send bulk promotional messages to people who have simply asked for a quotation.
4. Who we share it with
Your information stays within our organisation, except in these limited situations:
- Our own team. Our sales, design, production and site teams see the details necessary to prepare and deliver your project.
- Service providers. Our website hosting provider stores the data your enquiry generates. Our analytics and advertising providers process the technical and cookie information described in section 2. These providers act on our instructions.
- Transport and installation contractors. Where a project requires delivery or erection at your site, we share the delivery address and a contact number with the people carrying out that work.
- Professional advisers. Our accountants and, where necessary, our legal advisers may see information relevant to a contract or a dispute.
- Legal requirement. We disclose information where a court, tax authority or other lawful authority requires it, or where disclosure is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
We do not transfer your information outside India except through our website hosting, analytics and advertising providers, whose servers may be located in other countries and who operate under their own data protection commitments.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to three years from your last contact with us, so that we can respond helpfully if you return to the project later.
- Enquiries that become projects: for the duration of the project and for eight years after completion, to meet our contractual, warranty, tax and accounting obligations under Indian law.
- Website analytics data: retained by our analytics provider according to the retention period we have configured, currently fourteen months.
After these periods, we delete the information or remove anything that identifies you.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and why
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your information, where we do not need it for a contract or a legal obligation
- Stop contacting you, at any time and for any reason
- Withdraw consent you have previously given
To exercise any of these, email sales@jadrosteel.com or call +91 98303 67549. We will respond within thirty days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
7. How we protect your information
Enquiries submitted through our website travel over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry data is limited to the members of our team who need it to do their work. Our website software and server are kept updated, and we review our administrator accounts regularly.
No system connected to the internet can be guaranteed completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will inform you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
8. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults planning construction projects. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
Our website links to our own profiles on WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Once you follow a link away from jadrosteel.com, the privacy policy of that platform applies, not ours. We are not responsible for how those platforms handle your information.
10. Advertising
We advertise on Google. If you arrive at our website through one of our advertisements, our advertising provider may record that visit so that we can measure whether the advertisement worked.
We do not use your enquiry details — your name, phone number or email address — to build advertising audiences, and we do not upload customer lists to advertising platforms.
You can control the advertising you see through Google's own advertising settings.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change materially affects you, we will make that clear rather than relying on you to notice.
